Disney Day One

I was going to wait to blog until I got home, but I wanted to remember all the fun little things that happened today. We are staying at the Paradise Pier Disney Hotel. Wow... it is incredible. We will definitely never stay anywhere but Disney again. We started off by taking Grace to Toon Town. She loved it. She loved Mickey. There were NO lines. I don't know if September is slow,or Fridays are slow, or if the economy is just bad... but there was no one there. We walked right on to Dumbo and The Teacups. We promised Grace a princess dress for her Birthday and picked out a Tinkerbell costume with all the works. Holy Geez... the most expensive costume we have ever bought. Let's just say she is going to be wearing this for the next three Halloweens.

We took Grace to feed the ducks, the Tiki Room, and The Jungle Cruise. Morgan LOVED the tiki room. Mac... oblivious. We end... or let me rephrase this.. Grace ended her day after the Parade of Dreams. Bless her heart she was soo tired. Peter Pan waived at her and she about melted. Also, people kept swarming her to take her picture after she got her costume. She was the cutest darn Tinkerbell I have ever seen. She needless to say, enjoyed the attention.

Oscar and I headed back after dropping everyone off. We planned on staying out pretty late, but realized that we are really becoming old farts. We were so tired we ended up back in our room by nine. What bums we are. Can't wait for tomorrow. Loved seeing Disney through my little girl's eyes.
