lessons from television

I must confess that my daughter is a tv freak. She loves movies and television. I am definitely guilty of letting her watch it way too much, but I am really good about controlling what she is allowed to watch... Disney , Dora, and Thomas the Train.  Today though I overheard her playing and it made me feel like at least she was learning something from all this tv.

(Grace playing with blocks in her room unaware of me)

The blocks fall over

Grace: "Try Again"

The blocks fall over again

Grace: "Try Again!"

She stacks the blocks all the way up

Grace: "I did it! I did it! I did it! YEAH!"

Grace start jumping up and down singing this.

These little buggers are so darn impressionable. These are the exact words from a Dora episode.  I guess she is learning some valuable life lessons... ( or at least I will keep letting myself think that!)
