More Gracie-isms

I awake this morning to Grace yelling from the kitchen "buggie..... oh no!" I hear her run to my Mom to help her. I listen to this go on for a few minutes knowing exactly what had happened. I saw a fly come in last night and hadn't been able to get it out. Grace HATES flies and one kept landing in her cereal. After two failed attempts to get rid of it, she runs into my room and says "Momma Ake Up. Buggie!" So I ask her where it is and she grabs me out of bed and runs down the hall yelling "Ight there, Ight there". I get the fly outside finally and she looks at me and says " Tankyou Momma, Buggie Trash, Kiss". Ahh... again my heart melts. 

Everyday I hear say the funniest things. Two year olds are either driving you crazy, or making you laugh... today Grace is in my closet and says "look Momma, a doggie!" I am thinking to myself that Sancho must be in there. I see Grace go over to this old fur coat of my Mom's and pet it!

We also starting trying to do FHE with her and bought the "Behold Your Little Ones" manual.  The first lesson was " I Am A Child Of God".  That night when I put her to bed she looked at me and said "Jacie ChildofGod".  My heart melted.  We also started kneeling next to her bed at night for family prayers. I tell her after we brush her teeth to go get Daddy for family prayer and she will run down the hall saying "famprar Dad... famprar..". I hope she is always so willing to pray. I really think we learn so much from these little spirits. I am so grateful to have her in our home. I hope I can teach her as much as she is teaching me everyday.
