Baking Cookies/Pumpkin Patch

Baking is something that unfortunately I rarely do. Baking is just not my thing!  I was feeling domestic today and didn't have any work to do, so we made some sugar cookies with orange sprinkles for Halloween. Oh man! Grace had sooo much fun. The only problem was that she wanted to eat all of the cookies!
After baking we had a family night. Oscar has been getting home a lot earlier these days. The fall is generally a slow season for his work and we love getting to spend so much time with him. We went shopping for some holiday clothes for the kids. ( By the way....we are NOT having anymore children.. holy geez... clothing three children is expensive!)  Then we met up with my Mom to take the kiddos to a pumpkin patch. I had been telling Grace all day that we were going and she kept telling me that she wanted a "yittle punkin". I was surprised how much the babies enjoyed themselves. Maybe because I never take them out of the house!!  Grace loved the little car ride.. and Oscar took her on a huge slide. Grace was not such a big fan of that.  Have I mentioned that I absolutely love Fall! I hope that I can make some magical memories for my children. I have such great memories of the holidays. I am trying to make holiday traditions for my kids. It is so fun to watch the wonder in their eyes as they experience all of these things. I think that is one of the very best parts of being a parent... that you are young again through their eyes.

Do you like my daughter's pirate smile!!??
