On the Other End of the Lens

Today I was on the other end of the lens. After a morning of studio shoots, our little family actually had pictures of our very own. My good friend Heidi Lee of Moments Like This Photography was brave enough to shoot my crazy chickadees. I appreciate Heidi so much. She has helped me so much in the past year and has really become a good friend and mentor to me. Needless to say... we took LOTS of pictures. It is sooo tough to shoot this many little ones. We did get a couple great shots of our whole family though.   I definitely prefer to be the photographer and not the model. I totally realize what my clients go through preparing for our session. I have seriously been stressing about these pictures for weeks: what time to do it, what to wear, how the kids will act. I am glad they are done. Glad we got some good shots. Glad to have a friend willing to take time out of her day to photograph our family.
